From Novice to New York

In 2022, I was gifted five oil painting lessons for beginners for my thirty-eighth birthday. As much as I realized how much I loved oil painting, I was frustrated by the course’s rigidity, which limited my growth, expression, and enjoyment as an artist. From then on, I continued to paint nearly every night. I eventually discovered my unique style and technique after exploring, experimenting, and reflecting on each finished piece. The result of this original approach contributed to my rapid rise from novice to featured artist in one of the most competitive art markets in the world. In this course, I will share everything of value from my first five lessons and the philosophical and technical lessons I learned myself. Regardless of your experience or age, this course will help expedite your growth and assist you in developing your unique style. Using my formal education and ten years of experience as a public school educator, I have created six robust lessons of original insight and value to assist you in your artistic journey.
